CHRIS STRAIT

About

With over 27 years of experience as a personal coach, Chris has worked with various athletes, from those wanting to BQ (qualify for the Boston Marathon) to those who decide to make running a part of their everyday lives.   Distances coached range from the 800 to ultra-marathons. 

​

In the two years he spent coaching the Men's and Women's Distance Teams at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, he had two national qualifiers, eight regional qualifiers, and four conference champions.  

​

Chris also holds a USATF Level I and Vdot O2 certification and is extremely active in the triathlon community. 

 

  "Through developing training strategies, discussing successes and strategies, and helping athletes shape their goals, we can progress through benchmarks to achieve those goals.  By developing individualized training programs, the athlete's needs are met, allowing us to get the most out of every training session."
